The label was founded in 2007 by Avarshan Govender who is in partnership with his brothers. The idea came about while drawing inspiration from both the love of music and sense of pride that came from growing up in cultural background. Hence being a Govender & being Tamil, the tiger theme was incorporated into the idea of the brand which actually came about from the history behind the "Tamil Tigers".
